Prithviraj Chavan refused to confirm if the NCP had asked for Chief Minister's post for half the term if voted back to power.

Congress election campaign committee chief Narayan Rane on Tuesday said alliance partner NCP has demanded the post of chief minister on rotational basis should the alliance come to power.

The 25-year-old alliance is now on the verge of collapse as both the parties have refused to bow down and have also warned of fighting polls alone.

The questioning comes after Nalini Chidambaram was named by Sudipto Sen, one of the key accused of the scam.
