BSA‘s iconic Gold Star is all set to hit Indian roads this 15th August.

The eagerly awaited motorcycle, featuring a powerful 652cc engine and classic BSA branding, has been teased ahead of its grand launch.

After making waves in global markets, the BSA Gold Star is finally making its way to India. The bike pays homage to its heritage with a retro design that includes a distinctive fuel tank, curved fenders, and plenty of chrome accents.

Priced competitively against the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, which sells in the UK for £6400 – £6900, the BSA Gold Star’s Indian pricing by Classic Legends is eagerly anticipated, given its local production. Enthusiasts await to see how it stacks up in the 650cc segment starting from Rs 3.03 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Under the hood, riders can expect a 652cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine pumping out 45hp at 6500rpm and 55Nm at 4000rpm, paired with a smooth five-speed gearbox.

According to Autocar, it boasts a front telescopic fork, twin rear shock absorbers, and rides on sturdy wire-spoke wheels. Safety features include ABS-equipped disc brakes at both ends. Inspired by its legendary predecessor, the BSA Gold Star boasts classic features like a stylish fuel tank design, curved fenders, and plenty of chrome accents.
