After delaying for so long, finally, the much-awaited Krishnarajapura – Baiyappanahalli line’s safety was inspected by the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) on Thursday. It has been reported that the 2km long metro stretch on the purple line will receive clearance for the same after getting approval from the CMRS.
KR Puram-Baiyappanahalli Metro Line Safety Inspection
The report says a team, was appointed to inspect the safety of the metro stretch and did a close check-up on metro tracks, girders, viaducts, signaling, and among others. It is expected that once the Purple Line gets operated fully, it will enhance Bengaluru’s transportation, lowering the traffic, and will benefit the commuters, especially from the Challaghatta and Whitefield areas.
kangri-Challaghatta Inspection Soon
It also has been speculated that the kangri-Challaghatta line will be inspected soon. However, no official details have been shared regarding the same as yet.
KR Puram – Baiyappanahalli To inaugurate Soon
Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) was scheduled to inaugurate the KR Puram – Baiyappanahalli line sometime in July. However, the data have been pushed further in a view to complete some tasks, related to the line. It is said that once the Purple Line is fully operational, it will make travel quite easy for all the commuters between Challaghatta and Whitefield.
