Just as they say Mumbai never sleeps, Bengaluru never takes a break from its work ethic. Whether you’re inside a movie theatre or stuck in traffic, the city’s relentless grind continues. Now, whether this is a positive sign or not is a different debate, but the city keeps piling up these ‘Peak’ moments that never seem to stop happening. A recent example of this was a “We are hiring” poster proudly displayed at a recent football match, providing yet another ‘Peak Bengaluru’ moment.
In a picture shared on the micro-blogging site ‘X’, a user with the handle @mrinininininini posted an image of a man holding a poster that boldly proclaimed, “We’re Hiring,” complete with a QR code for scanning. In the accompanying caption, the user dubbed it “the peakiest Bengaluru moment.”
Take a Look:
This poster was apparently exhibited during an Indian Super League match between Bengaluru FC and East Bengal in the 2023-24 season at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru. The match, where Sunil Chhetri and Javi Hernandez scored, resulted in a 2-1 victory for Bengaluru FC over EBFC.

Soon people started commenting on the post.
“Admin was trying to scan but accidentally clicked and posted it,” joked one user. “might be they are thinking that only jobless people come to watch matches,” humourously remarked another.
Well, Bengalureans have a history of setting unconventional priorities. Previously, during an IPL match at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, a fan utilized the space typically reserved for team and player slogans to advertise their search for a rented house. This poster quickly went viral on social media, eliciting numerous laughs and witty responses from internet users.
‘X’ user Atin Bose shared a photo of himself at the IPL holding a poster that read, “Looking for a 2 BHK in Indiranagar.” He humorously commented, “Could’ve asked Kohli to marry us, but right now, priorities.” This incident further demonstrates that Bengalureans have their priorities in order, even during an exciting cricket match. Social media erupted with a flurry of hilarious reactions, proving that house hunting can indeed be a delightful and entertaining experience.
