Kannada actor Dhruva Sarja and his wife Prerana Shankar are overjoyed as they have stepped into parenthood once more. The couple, who are already parents to a daughter, welcomed their son yesterday, on September 18. Dhruva interacted with News18 Kannada regarding this and said that he is happy that it was a normal delivery, without any complications for his wife. Dhruva, however, revealed that at one point in time, he feared that some problems may take place during the delivery. He said, “The baby is fine. Everything is normal. We are very happy," adding: “As soon as I entered the hospital room, I was looking at Prerana first. Then I saw my son". Dhruva jokingly told the media that his newborn son is fairer than him. According to Dhruva Sarja, this is one of the most beautiful times of his life, but he still misses his elder brother, actor Chiranjeevi Sarja.
Dhruva also said that he now has three children, namely Raayan Raj Sarja, his daughter and now a newborn son. For those who don’t know, Raayan is the son of actors Meghana Raj and Chiranjeevi Sarja. Dhruva considers Raayan as his own son now, especially after Chiranjeevi passed away in 2020.

Dhruva and his wife Prerana are childhood friends and later get into a relationship. The couple got engaged on December 9, 2018, before tying the knot in a beautiful ceremony in November 2019. They welcomed their first child, a daughter, in October 2022.
Dhruva is also a foot forward on the work front and will play the lead role in the film Martin written and directed by AP Arjun. Vaibhavi Shandilya, Nawab Shah, Rohit Pathak, Sadhu Kokila, Nikitin Dheer, and other actors have also acted in this film. As per the reports, a hugely expensive set has been placed in Hyderabad for a special song in the film, that will be picturised on Dhruva and Georgia Andriani.
