Bangalore: IT solutions provider MindTree, set up by first-generation Indian entrepreneurs in this tech hub, has been declared Asia's "most admired knowledge enterprise" (MAKE) for the second consecutive year, the company said Monday.
MindTree executive chairman Ashok Soota received the MAKE award at the World Knowledge Forum 2009 in Seoul in South Korea last week.
The prestigious award is instituted by Teleos Leadership Institute in association with the international web-based professional knowledge sharing network or KNOW Network.
A panel of Asian Fortune Global 500 business executives found MindTree to be excellent in the area of knowledge management.
"Integrating knowledge into our strategy and day-to-day work has paid-off," Soota said while receiving the award.
As an independent knowledge management and intellectual capital research firm, Teleos administers the MAKE programme.
MindTree was also ranked 45th among the leaders in the 2009 global outsourcing 100 by the international association of outsourcing professionals.
