In Tamil Nadu's Villupuram, Woman CA Sells Organic Face Packs
The woman has been working on her organic face products for at least six years now.

The central government’s aim to formalise the MSME sector with the Udyam Registration initiative, launched in July 2020 has over 2 crore businesses registered of which 19.43 per cent are owned by women. Women entrepreneurs around the country have started small businesses and have slowly expanded. One of them is Nandini Sreedharan from Villupuram district, Tamil Nadu who has her own small business of organic self-care products for women.

The products are natural and organic with no chemical preservatives to keep the skin glowing and natural. Who doesn’t love to have clear and glowing skin? And chemical components in the products can damage the skin. Nandini, who is a resident of Kampan in Villupuram, has completed her education as a CA.

Speaking with News18, she shared that she was inspired to start something of her own by her mother’s encouragement who is a teacher. Nandini Sreedharan has been working on her organic face products for at least six years now and has given her brand’s name Sri Visha Products. At present, she is selling her products in Villupuram.

Speaking about the organic face pack, she shared that women should use natural ingredients on their skin as much as possible as a base pack, especially after all the make-up products are used on the face.

She added that she uses 25 organic ingredients in the face pack that she makes. The organic ingredients include avaram flower, rose, Vetiver, pumpkin seed, musk turmeric, gooseberry, Mysore dal, Manjit, Dravyam bark, basil, neem leaf, Multani Meethi and carbonized rice which is dried well and ground together so it can be mixed well.

Nandini further said that if the listed ingredients are not available in the locality then they are available in traditional medical shops (Ayurvedic). She also the mixed powder pack can be applied by adding a little water or milk and massaging the face for 10 minutes. For glowing skin, one can apply in the morning, evening or both times.

She also added that while removing the pack, one should not wash off the pack with soapy face wash and use only water. After washing the face pack, one can apply moisturiser if they feel dryness. Nandini said that if one applies the pack for at least three months, they will get rid of all the acne issues and other skin problems. She has been selling the product through social media platforms. The pack is sold for just Rs 150.

Apart from the face pack, she also sells organic soaps at a nominal price. Nandini hopes that her organic products are sold not just in her district but around the country.
