The highly anticipated film Chandramukhi 2 has been released in theatres today, September 28. The film is the sequel to the 2005 hit film Chandramukhi which starred superstar Rajinikanth and Jyothika in the lead roles. The sequel is written and directed by P Vasu and features Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut in the lead.
Ahead of the release of the film, Raghava Lawrence was spotted visiting the Dhandayuthapani Temple in Palani, Tamil Nadu, to seek blessings from God for the success of his film. There has been a lot of hype for the film and fans have been eagerly waiting to watch the film in theatres.
After worshipping the deity, Lawrence went to the Emerald Lingam at the Pokhar Shrine. After that, it was reported that the actor also went to Siddhar Pulippani Ashram in Palani and meditated there for some time near the Pulippani Siddhar Jeeva Samadhi. He also took blessings from Bogar Adheenam Sivananda Pullipani Swamy. Many people surrounded him after they realised that the actor was there. Many of them were seen clicking pictures with him.
Raghava Lawrence, Kangana Ranaut and P Vasu also visited the Sri Peddamma Thali temple in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, recently. The team went there to seek blessings from God for the success of their film. The temple is one of the most famous temples for the Bonaalu festival.
Earlier, Lawrence also went to superstar Rajinikanth before the release of the film. Thalaivar played the lead in the first part and Raghava went to him to get approval for the role. He was even spotted touching the feat of the superstar and took blessings from him.
Chandramukhi 2 has received a positive response and the audience is flocking to theatres to watch it. Apart from the lead actors, the film also stars Lakshmi Menon, Mahima Nambiar, Subiksha and Vadivelu.
