Sivakarthikeyan To Be A Part Of Lokesh Kanagaraj-Rajinikanth’s Next?

Lokesh Kanagaraj has become one of the most sought-after filmmakers across the country. Every actor wants to work with him. After delivering a mega success with Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo recently, now Lokesh Kanagaraj is gearing up for his next film, where he is collaborating with superstar Rajinikanth. The movie has been tentatively named Thalaivar 171. As per latest reports, actor Sivakarthikeyan has been roped in by the makers. Ever since the announcement of Thalaivar 171, fans have been buzzing with excitement. As per the latest update, it was reported that Sivakarthikeyan will be playing a prominent role in the movie. The actor has reportedly signed the agreement. It is a huge moment for him, as he is an ardent fan of Rajinikanth. On multiple occasions, Sivakarthikeyan has expressed his love for Rajinikanth. No official confirmation regarding this news has been received.

One social media influencer tweeted on X recently, “According to the VP, Sivakarthikeyan will play an important role in Thalaivar 171 and the agreement has been signed. Sivakarthikeyan was an ardent fanboy of Superstar Rajinikanth and now going to share screen space with him. Lokesh Kanagaraj mentioned in one of the interviews that T171 will have a lot of surprises in the casting. Seems he is planning big.”

Thalaivar 171 marks Lokesh Kanagaraj’s sixth directorial venture. It marks his first collaboration with Rajinikanth. As per reports, the movie will be a standalone film and will have no relation to the Lokesh Cinematic Universe or LCU. In an interview, the director shared that he loves Rajinikanth’s villainous roles in the movies and said he would try to introduce that to his upcoming movie. There have been rumours that actor Raghava Lawrence will be essaying the role of an antagonist. Thalaivar 171 is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures. The music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Rajinikanth will be seen in a cameo role next in his daughter, director Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s forthcoming sports drama titled Lal Salaam. He is also a part of TJ Gnanavel’s Thalaivar 170, which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan.
