Thalapathy Vijay-starrer Leo was released at the cinema halls today, on October 19. It received mixed to positive reviews from the audience. Some appreciated Vijay’s terrific performance, while others pointed out that no powerful antagonist against Vijay’s character lessens the film’s intrigue. Meanwhile, the Tamil Nadu Government has ordered the release of a maximum of 5 shows per day for Leo in Villupuram District. These shows will be held from October 19 to October 24 in theatres in Villupuram. The time duration of these shows is from 09:00 AM to 1:30 PM. The government has also made some regulations to monitor that excess charges should not be levied on the stipulated entrance fee in cinema halls. It has been advised to take action against cinema halls that are not following the orders laid down by Tamil Nadu Cinema.
The theatre owners in Viluppuram District have also been instructed to make other necessary arrangements like ensuring proper traffic. They would have to look after the parking arrangements as well and prevent unnecessary charges in the parking lot.
Cinema hall owners will also have to ensure that there are no cases of overcrowding in theatres. The owners will have to be careful that there will not be any obstructions in the movement of the moviegoers. The owners should also cooperate with the police officials for the security arrangements. The cinema hall owners have been advised to keep the seats and the auditorium premises clean so that people and visitors can enter and exit without difficulty. All theatre owners operating in Villupuram district are requested to follow all the regulations, as per the instructions of the district administration.
Leo revolves around a café owner, who unexpectedly receives national attention when he is visited by thugs and the underworld mafia. The cafe owner protests that it’s a case of mistaken identity but is eventually forced to drop his façade. What happens afterwards forms the core premise of this movie.
