Actors Vishal and SJ Suryah have created quite a stir in the industry with their latest release action comedy entertainer Mark Antony. According to reports, the film received positive reviews from critics and earned Rs 50 crore at the global box office within 5 days of its release. Reportedly, the film earned Rs 35 crore from Tamil Nadu.
Mark Antony is one of the important films in the career of Vishal that has quickly joined the box-office club of Rs 50 crore. Adhik Ravichandran directed this film which was released at the cinemas on September 15 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Mini Studios has produced the film. It revolves around two gangsters Mark and Antony who acquire a mobile phone that has the ability to time travel. Ritu Varma, Sunil, Abhinaya, YG Mahendran, Mohan Vaidya, Redin Kingsley and others have acted in Mark Antony.
Vishal is happy with the accolades that Mark Antony has received and said, “The reason I want to say this is because, as I hear how blockbuster the film is and people pouring in their love for the performances of the cast, I thank you all for the support we have received for the film. I am hearing a good word being spread not only in Tamil Nadu, but also in Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, including overseas.” He further said that not just the earnings but people have loved the film from their heart. Vishal thanked everyone and said that he would keep this in mind and be considerate while doing his future projects. Vishal also thanked the film fraternity for supporting Mark Antony and conveyed his gratitude. Vishal added that he is indebted to pay Rs 1 from each ticket to the farmers on their behalf and will do it.

Vishal is now looking forward to the release of the film Vishal34 directed by Hari. Yogi Babu and Priya Bhavani Shankar will also act in this movie. Stone Bench Films and Zee Studios have produced it. The reports published in July said that this film was to be shot without any break in a 3-month long schedule.
