Gujarat Titans vs Delhi Capitals – Live Score and Updates
Despite playing at home in the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, it was an abysmal performance by the home side. It started off with Shubman Gill falling cheaply on 8 runs off six deliveries with a catch by Prithvi Shaw to give Ishant the wicket. The in-form Sai Sudharashan was also dismissed with a soft run-out to add to the woes of the hosts. Ishant picked up his second of the evening as he dismissed the returning David Miller who can be a handful well before he was able to make much of an impact. Pant pulled off a wonderful take from behind the stumps and a brilliant DRS call to overturn the umpire’s decision.
Tristan Stubbs also chipped in with two more wickets as the hosts were all but close to being all-out. But Rashid Khan’s brief cameo was good but in vain as the home side were unable to get past the triple-digit mark.

After the first innings, it becomes the first time that GT has been bundled out for a score in double digits since they were in the IPL in 2022. This also becomes the lowest innings total going past the previous record-low of 125 which also came against the Capitals last year at Ahmedabad.
Amongst the lowest scores for each respective franchise that are still present in the IPL, GT stacks up at the sixth spot among the 10. RCB’s 49 against KKR in 2017 still remains as the lowest innings total in IPL history.
