Ben Stokes will miss the series opener as he is still recovering from a hamstring tear, and in his absence, Ollie Pope will lead the visitors. The left-handed batter will look to come up with a big show in the first Test not just to save his job but also to silence the critics who have questioned his place in the side as well as his leadership credentials.
