The Indian Premier League legend and former Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians batter, Ambati Rayudu has gone in on the management group of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru after their shock exit from the 2024 edition after their loss to Rajasthan Royals in the first eliminator in the playoff stage at Ahmedabad.
The former Indian international did not mince his words and pitied the fans of the Bengaluru-based unit for the poor management shown by the franchise despite making it to the playoffs in what was an unlikely scenario.
The rivalry between two of the most iconic franchises was at its peak during the latter stages of the season when both sides had the chance of confirming the fourth spot in the points table which would mean they would progress to the knockout stages.
RCB managed to come out on top, winning by a margin of 27 runs and had just enough net run-rate to go above the five-time champions. With six consecutive wins, the momentum was with RCB but they once again succumbed to the pressure and were shown the exit as the wait for their first title continued.

In his post on his official handle on X (formerly known as Twitter), Rayudu suggested that the franchise now look ahead to the 2025 IPL Mega-Auctions as their chance to revamp the side in a new mould which emphasised the team’s interests rather than signing the big-name individuals.

It wasn’t too long ago that Ambati Rayudu had posted a video on his Instagram where some of the CSK players were showing off the five titles they had in response to the massive outrage and the trolling by RCB fans after their shock exit form the tournament after being beaten by RCB.
