BPSC Recruitment 2024: Applications Invited To Fill 106 Assistant Architect Posts

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) recently released a recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Architect. A total of 106 vacant positions are aimed to be filled through the recruitment drive under the Building Construction Department of the Government of Bihar.

According to the official notification, the application process for the offered posts will commence on February 21, and the last day of applying is March 11. Therefore, candidates can apply for the given Assistant Architect post online through the official website at bpsc.bih.nic.in.

BPSC Assistant Architect 2024: Vacancies

Out of the 106 vacant positions offered, 26 are under the unreserved category. 11 are for EWS, 21 are for SC, 2 are for ST, 27 are for EBC, and 19 are for OBC category candidates.

BPSC Assistant Architect 2024: Application Fees

Candidates belonging to the reserved category of SC/ST/PWD categories and female applicants need to pay an application fee of Rs 200, while candidates from other categories need to pay Rs 750.

BPSC Assistant Architect 2024: Eligibility

As per the notification issued on February 15, the candidates are considered eligible when he or she has a Bachelor in Architecture degree and is registered with the Council of Architecture, New Delhi. Meanwhile, the notification states that the age limit to apply for unreserved candidates is between 21 to 37 years, while for the OBC, EBC, and female candidates is between 21 to 40 years. For the SC and ST candidates, the age limit to apply for the post is between 21 to 42 years.

BPSC Assistant Architect 2024: Selection Process

The selection process will consist of a written exam which will carry 75 multiple choice questions with a total of 300 marks. The examination will be of 2 hours.
