Delhi University (DU) has released the schedule for Undergraduate Admission in 2024 under the Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) quota. Applicants wishing to be admitted through ECA can now start appearing for the trials. According to the schedule, the trials for activities like Indian classical dance, Hindi debate, Indian classical and light music, and theatre commenced on August 12. The trials for admission in the sports quota will take place from August 20 to 22.
Students interested in seeking admission to Delhi University Under Graduate Courses 2024 through ECA must verify the detailed date-wise and time-slot-wise list of candidates for each ECA category’s trials posted on Delhi University’s official website admission.uod.ac.in.
DU Admission 2024: ECA Trials Schedule
–– Trials for theatre, Indian classical and light music, discussion in Hindi, Indian classical dance, and other events will start on August 12.
–– Sports quota student trials are scheduled to begin on August 20 and go until August 22.
–– Hansraj College will host the physical trials for creative writing in Hindi and English on August 16.
–– The dates of the Indian classical dance trials are August 12 to 17, the Indian folk dance trials are August 20 to 21, the western dance trials are August 21 to 22, and the choreography trials are August 23 to 25 at Mata Sundari College.
–– Ramjas College serves as their trial centre for Hindi which will take place on August 12 and 13, and the English debate trials will take place on August 13 and 22.
–– The physical trial for digital media, which includes photography, cinematography, and animation, is scheduled for August 20, 21, and 22 at Maharaja Agrasen College.
–– Fine arts trials will take place at Rajdhani College on August 20 and run through August 23 for subjects including painting and sketching, and on August 23 for sculpture.
–– Bharati College will host trials for Indian classical and light music, Western classical and light music, Indian instrumental between August 20 and 21, and Western instrumental between August 22 and 23 will take place.
–– Trials for theatre will take place at Miranda House College from August 12 to 21.
–– Trials for divinity will take place at Guru Teg Bahadur College on August 13 and for quizzes at Daulat Ram College on August 20.
–– In addition, PGDAV College will have trials for yoga on August 21 and 22.
Candidates must provide the CUET Score Card and all of the uploaded ECA certifications in original. This year, Delhi University has allocated five percent of the total seats in each college for ECA and Sports categories.
DU Admission 2024: Third-Round Admission
Beginning on August 16, the third stage of the admissions process will handle admissions and seat assignments based on applicants’ preferred college courses. By August 18, candidates can accept their seats. By August 20, colleges will confirm and grant admission to students. August 21 at 4:59 p.m. is the deadline for online fee payments for the first admission round.
