The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the schedule for Spot Round-I of allocations and admissions to undergraduate programs for the academic session 2024-25. According to the schedule posted on the official website, the application process for spot admissions will open on September 18 at 10 AM and will close on September 19 at 11:59 PM. The seat allocation list will be published on September 21 at 3 PM.
The official notice also specifies that only applicants who applied through the Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS-UG)-2024 but have not been admitted to any college by September 17 (5:00 PM) are eligible for the Spot Round-I admission process. Additionally, the dashboard of all admitted students will be set to freeze mode, and they will not be permitted to withdraw their admissions after September 17 (5:00 PM), thus preventing any further changes or withdrawals.
To participate in the Spot Round-I admission process, candidates must select the ‘Spot Admission’ option through their dashboard. They will be able to choose only from programme and college combinations where seats are available, according to their category.

Display of vacant seats: September 18 (10 AM)
Candidates to apply for Spot Round-I from their dashboard: September 18 (10 AM) to September 19 (till 11:59 PM)
Declaration of allocations: September 21 (3 PM)
Candidates to “Accept” the allocated seat: September 21 (3 PM) to September 22 (till 11:59 PM)
College to Verify and Approve the Online Applications: September 21 (3 PM) to September 23 (till 4:59 PM)
Last date of Online payment of fees by the candidate: September 24 (till 04:59 PM)
Additionally, candidates must accept the seat allocated to them in the spot round to remain eligible for future admission rounds. Failure to accept the allocated seat will result in disqualification from future rounds and exclusion from the CSAS-UG 2024 process.
Candidates should be aware that there will be no option to withdraw or upgrade seats during the spot admission rounds. The seat allocated in each Spot Admission round will be final, and no further upgrades will be permitted in any subsequent spot admission rounds.
