In Alwar, The Education Dept Develops Online Summer Vacation Course For Students

Schools have given summer vacation for two months. This is the time for fun, games and trips. But some children want to invest their time to learn. The Education Department of Alwar has created great opportunities for these kinds of students. The Department has launched a dedicated portal where the children can complete all their classes from home.

The Education Department has taken the initiative to promote education among students during summer vacations. Even during summer vacations, students can study from home. The department had developed an online portal for students. In this portal, students can complete 28 courses in 11 subjects. Also, students can avail the benefits of this scheme by getting themselves registered on the portal.

Nekiram, Chief District Education Officer, Alwar, gave information about home learning. “Usually, students spend their summer vacations enjoying themselves. Keeping in mind the education of the students, the Education Department has introduced an innovation. Under this scheme, every student can study online from home. The Department has launched the portal. It has been enriched with quality ingredients. After May 16, there will be vacations in all schools. After that, students can make good use of their time by studying online”, he said.

This facility is provided to the students of classes 11 and 12. All students of classes 11 and 12 whose schools teach NCERT books can enrol for it.

The special thing about this scheme is that both government and private school students can avail of it. The education department has started the registration. The course will run on the portal till September 30. Out of the 28 courses launched on the portal, 16 courses are for class 11 and the rest are for class 12. These include many subjects like Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Biology, Chemistry, History, Geography, Mathematics, Psychology, Physics and Sociology. E-material, e-learning and student self-assessment (test) will be available on the portal.
