The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is set to reopen the registration window for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024 today, March 30. Candidates can visit the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/ and fill out the KCET 2024 application form. It needs to be noted that the KCET 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 18 and 19.

As per the notification released by KEA, the deadline to submit the application form is April 1 till 4 pm. However, the payment can be made by 8 pm on the same day. Earlier, the last date for submitting the KCET application form was February 26 which was subsequently extended to March 20.

Meanwhile, the KCET 2024 admit card will be released for the candidates on April 5. Candidates who submitted their applications before the due date have been allocated Bangalore as the exam city for the examination. The Kannada language test will be conducted on April 20 for which KCET 2024 results will be announced on May 20.

KCET 2024: Steps to apply

Step 1 – Start by visiting the KCET official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Step 2 – On the homepage, locate the link under the application tab and click on it.

Step 3 – In the next step, generate login credentials and proceed. It is required to log in using the credentials and fill out the KCET 2024 application form.

Step 4 – Upload the required documents.

Step 5 – Proceed to pay the application fee and submit the form.

Step 6 – Download the application form for further use.

KCET 2024: Application Fee

Candidates from general merit, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500 to register for the exam whereas the ones belonging to scheduled caste (SC), and scheduled tribe (ST) must pay Rs 250 while filling out the application form. On the other hand, candidates originating from other states and not Karnataka are required to pay an application fee of Rs 750 whereas foreign candidates need to pay Rs 5,000 for the same.
