Oil and Natural Gas Limited (ONGC) is inviting online applications for Junior and Associate Consultants for the Surface team. This department has released vacancies for several disciplines like Production, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Chemistry. The period of the job will be only for one year.
ONGC has released a total vacancy of 79 seats. The job only requires retired ONGC executives. Interested candidates can apply for the post before June 23. Candidates must be below 64 years of age to become eligible for the recruitment. The applicant must have 10 years of experience in the field they are applying. For the Production division of the Surface Team department, the candidate must be a retired ONGC executive from the Production/Mechanical discipline at the E1 to E5 level. Whereas, for other divisions, the candidate must have served from E1 to E3 levels with 10 years of experience. The salary of the Junior Consultant will be Rs 40,000 while the Associate Consultant will be hired at a pay of Rs 66,000. The candidate must hold an ITI or diploma or higher degree to become eligible for the job.
There are three parameters based on which the candidate will be selected. Working experience in ONGC (10 marks), Educational qualification (10 marks) and written test (60 marks) for screening of candidates in the first round. Candidates who secure a minimum of 27 marks (33.33%) out of a total of 80 marks will be called for personal interview (PI). The minimum qualifying marks in the interview for final selection will be 33.33% of the maximum marks (i.e. 7 out of 20).
