The State Bank of India has opened up 8773 vacancies for the junior associate post in the clerical cadre. The preliminary examination under SBI Clerk Recruitment will start tomorrow, January 5. Examinations will also be conducted on January 6, 11 and 12. The admit cards for the preliminary examination have been released on SBI’s official website. This space articulates the list of other important guidelines that the candidates should remember while going to attempt the exam at the hall.
1. It is important to carry the admit card in the examination. The candidates should remember to keep it carefully and take it with them on the examination date.
2. It is also necessary to carry a valid identity certificate. For this purpose, you can take an Aadhar card, PAN card, driver’s licence, or passport.
3. In addition to these documents, it is also vital for the candidates to have a photograph for verification at the examination centre. In this case, the candidates are required to carry at least 4-5 copies of the photo they have uploaded on the form.
4. The candidates should be very particular about the time and reach the exam centre at least 1 hour before the examination. This will ensure the timely completion of admission-related formalities like the verification of photos and identity certificates.
5. Electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. The candidates should not carry devices like mobile and smart watches with them. If the aspirants have carried these gadgets to the hall, they will be responsible for making adequate arrangements to keep them outside the centre.
6. Read all the instructions given on the admit card and procure information about the address of the examination centre in advance. This will ensure that the candidates do not waste their important time searching for the examination centre.
A clerk in SBI can get an in-hand salary ranging from Rs 26,000 to 29,000/-. Along with the basic salary, candidates are also entitled to various perks and allowances. These allowances include a provident fund, pension through the New Pension Scheme (defined contribution benefit), medical benefits, leave-fare, and other advantages.
