Many remain under the belief that prestigious institutions like the Indian Institute of Technology and the Indian Institute of Management are the best choices for engineering students. They are pushed to go ahead for these institutions, if they want to pursue courses like Bachelor of Technology and Master of Business Administration. Rashi Bagga, a BTech student, has changed this notion. She is an alumnus of the International Institute of Information Technology Naya Raipur (IIIT-NR) and got the highest package of Rs 85 lakh per annum. Yogesh Kumar, another student from IIIT-NR, has secured a job offer of Rs 56 lakh per annum for the post of software development engineer. A multinational company has offered Yogesh this post. According to IIIT-NR, the average CTC (Cost to Company) for placements in 2023 stood at 16.5 lakh, with the median CTC standing at Rs 13.6 lakh per annum. This space articulates the process and the documents required for securing admission into the IIIT-NR.
