Kussh Sinha REVEALS He Was Present At Sonakshi's Wedding, Debunks Rift Rumours: 'Sensitive Time' | Exclusive
Kussh Sinha also says he was very much a part of Sonakshi Sinha's wedding festivities, adds he wasn't as widely covered as the rest of the guests.

After dating for seven years, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot on Sunday (June 23). Following a registered marriage in the company of their family members and loved ones, the lovebirds threw a star-studded bash at Mumbai’s Bastian that saw celebrities like Salman Khan, Rekha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Huma Qureshi, Aditya Roy Kapur, Tabu, Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, Sharmin Segal Mehta, among many others, gracing it. However, the Sinha-Ratansi wedding has been a subject of conflict and stress ever since reports started doing the rounds that the lovebirds will finally become man and wife.

While their big day saw Sonakshi’s parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, there were strong speculations that her twin brothers Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha gave it a miss. In fact, a report in Hindustan Times stated that the shutterbugs didn’t spot them either at the wedding or the reception and that it was towards the very end of the party that they arrived. Following Luv’s reaction in the matter, News18 Showsha exclusively reached out to Kussh, who revealed that he was very much a part of the gala night, thus slamming rumours of the Sinhas being unhappy with Sonakshi and Zaheer’s union.

“I have already seen people publishing inaccurate information. It started with an article in a leading portal that had a quote by an unnamed source. I am not sure who’s doing all this right now and where it’s coming from. But a few houses have my images [from the night],” he told us. However, he also added that ‘this is a sensitive time for the family’.

Further addressing the conjectures regarding his absence from the reception, Kussh stated that being someone who likes being away from the spotlight, he wasn’t as widely covered as the rest of the guests. “It’s just that I am a private individual and I am not seen that much but that doesn’t mean that I wasn’t there,” he asserted.

Commenting on this new chapter in Sonakshi’s life, Kussh added, “I was present and I have only good wishes for my sister and will always wish her well.”

On a related note, in a recent interview, all reports of a conflict were put to rest now as Sonakshi’s father told Times Now, “No one from my family said anything about a wedding. Too much attention is being given to something that is a private family matter. Shaadiyan sab ke ghar hoti hain. Pre-wedding conflicts are also common. We are all okay now. Whatever stress there was has been sorted out.”

While Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding pictures are all over social media, a protest march was recently organised in Sonakshi’s father’s hometown Patna in Bihar. Organised by Hindu Shiv Bhawani Sena, the fringe organisation called the interfaith marriage ‘love jihad’ and asked Sonakshi not to visit the state capital ever. Reacting to the trolls, the veteran actor-turned-politician has urged everyone to stop spreading hate. He asked trolls to ‘get a life’ and strongly stated that his daughter hasn’t done anything illegal.
