Jose Mourinho's men were all over the place as the Spanish giants suffered a huge 5-2 defeat.

Estadio Da Luz, Portugal: La Liga champions Real Madrid got some home truths from Portuguese club Benfica in a pre-season tie on Friday.

At the Estadio Da Luz, Jose Mourinho's men were all over the place as the Spanish giants suffered a huge 5-2 defeat.

Javi Garcia put the Portuguese side ahead with a header in the fourth minute. Real's Jose Callejon turned the game on its head with two goals in the space of two minutes.

However, the home side would restore parity moments later with another headed goal from Alex Witsel (22nd), before taking control of the match in the second half. A well-taken pair of efforts from Enzo Perez (53rd and 85th minute) and a fine finish from Carlos Martins (59th minute) put the home fans in ecstasy, and the result firmly out of Real's reach.
