The 32-year-old Croatian has been without a club since leaving the Cottagers in the summer after his one-year contract expired.
London: English Premier League club West Ham have strengthened their attack by signing Croatia forward Mladen Petric until the end of the season.
The 32-year-old Petric moved to England last summer when he joined Fulham after scoring 51 goals in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund and Hamburger SV.
Petric has also featured 45 times for Croatia, scoring 13 goals.
Petric's arrival will help West Ham manager Sam Allardyce to rebuild his attacking options after Andy Carroll injured his right foot at training on Monday and could be out for a long period.
