Naples: Newly signed Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain has reportedly cut his face after slipping on some rocks while enjoying a day off on the island of Capri.
The Gazzetta dello Sport says the Argentina international was treated with eight stitches to his jaw area and two to his eyebrow. Napoli had no immediate comment.
The incident came a day after Higuain figured well, although did not score, in Napoli's 3-0 win over Bologna to open the team's Serie A season. Higuain recently joined Napoli from Real Madrid.
