New Delhi: Real Madrid have effectively made their second winter signing on Wednesday evening as they have recalled on-loan youngster Daniel Parejo from Queens Park Rangers.
Real Madrid coach, Juande Ramos, signalled his intent by recalling Parejo from his loan spell.
The former Sevilla coach has been rumoured to be wanting to make better use of the youngsters at Real Madrid and this is a clear sign that he intends to do just that.
Parejo, who went out on loan to QPR this summer, has found regular playing time hard to come by and will rejoin the defending La Liga champions as soon as tomorrow for training, reports Marca.
With Ruben De La Red out for the season it is thought that Parejo will occupy his place in the side, which is in the middle of the pitch.
Along with Parejo it seems like Lassana Diarra will be joining Los Blancos soon, so Ramos should have no shortage of midfielders.
The 19-year-old has effectively become the second signing of the winter for Real Madrid, behind Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, but he has not cost them anything.
Parejo is known to want to succeed at Madrid and this move will probably please him greatly, especially if he does get regular playing time with the La Liga side.
Real Madrid currently sit sixth in the table and face Valencia this weekend in a game which will determine their position heading into the Christmas break.
