AS Roma has acquired forward Marco Borriello from AC Milan on loan, giving it another option in attack while Adriano recovers from injury.

Milan announced the move on its website on Tuesday, shortly after signing Robinho from Manchester City. Roma said the deal requires it to purchase Borriello's full contract at the end of the season for € 10 million ($ 12.7 million). Borriello signed a contract worth € 4.5 million ($ 5.7 million) for this season and € 5.4 million ($ 6.85 million) for the following four seasons.
