Actor Emma Stone was beaming on Sunday after she took home the Best Actress award for her role in Poor Things. Emma Stone got the award for playing Bella Baxter, an adult woman with the mind of a child, in the period fantasy film directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. Stone has previously won the Best Actress award in 2016 for La La Land. After the Oscars, Emma Stone attended the famous Vanity Fair Oscar afterparty held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, along with other A-list celebrities.
For the special event, Emma Stone wore a silver bejewelled gown for the event. It appears that the silver gown was from Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2024-2025 ready-to-wear collection that was recently presented at Paris Fashion Week. The boat neck gown was loosely fitted and had a slit that allowed for comfort and maximum movement. Stone paired the dress with silver heels and kept her make-up minimal. She kept her hair open and sleaked back for a relaxed vibe. An Instagram user who described Stone’s afterparty look as, “Always classy and elegant.” Another person wrote, “Her red carpet fashion is always so gorgeous.”

Previously at the Academy Awards, Emma Stone wore a custom mint peplum gown by Louis Vuitton. However, she suffered a minor wardrobe malfunction after the dress ripped at the back.
As she took the podium to say her speech, the 35-year-old actor referred to her ripped dress and said, “Oh boy, my dress is broken. I think it happened during ‘I’m Just Ken.’ I’m pretty sure.” After gaining her composure she went to express her gratitude to the makers of Poor Things.
Back in the pressroom, Emma Stone addressed the journalists about her dress and said that it was promptly repaired. As per Vanity Fair, Stone said, “When I came back, they sewed me back in, which was wonderful. I genuinely do think I did it during ‘I’m Just Ken.’ I just was so amazed by Ryan and what he was doing, and that number just blew my mind, and I was right there and I just was going for it and things happen.”
Back in January when Oscar nominations were announced, Emma Stone said in a statement, “Eleven nominations for Poor Things feels like a surreal dream.” She added, “I am beyond grateful to the Academy for including me as both an actress and producer among this group of exceptional nominees and for recognizing our film in so many categories.”
