Comedian and TV show host Trevor Noah’s Bengaluru shows have been cancelled. Noah, who was supposed to perform in Bengaluru on the night of September 27th, announced the same a while back on his X (formerly known as Twitter) account. He mentioned that the shows have been cancelled due to ‘technical issues’ and added that there is ‘no way to do a show’.

“Dear Bengaluru India, I was so looking forward to performing in your amazing city but due to technical issues we’ve been forced to cancel both shows,” Trevor Noah wrote.

“We tried everything but because the audience can’t hear the comedians on stage there’s literally no way to do a show. We’ll make sure all ticket holders receive a full refund and again I’m so sorry for both the inconvenience and disappointment this has never happened to us before,” the comedian added.

As reported by Free Press Journal, Noah had arrived on the stage but he then left due to sound issues. He then reportedly said that he had expected the sound to be sorted and added that he had never had such an experience before.

Trevor Noah’s Bengaluru shows were a part of his Off The Record Tour in India as a part of which he was supposed to perform in 3 cities – Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai. The globally-popular comedian and former host of The Daily Show is known for his insightful and authentic take on politics and current events. Trevor has written, produced, and starred in 12 comedy specials, most recently including ‘I Wish You Would’ on Netflix.
