Things You Should Know

In Microsoft Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + K (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + K (Mac), or right-click the tab and select Duplicate Tab.
In Chrome, Safari, or Firefox, right-click a tab and select "'Duplicate tab'" or Duplicate.
If you have a Mac, you can customize keyboard shortcuts in Apple menu > System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > App Shortcuts.

Microsoft Edge

Press Ctrl+⇧ Shift+K (PC) or ⌘ Cmd+⇧ Shift+K (Mac). This quick keyboard shortcut will instantly duplicate the current tab in Microsoft Edge.

Alternatively, right-click the tab and select Duplicate tab. If you don't want to use a keyboard shortcut, this alternative will work on any computer. The mobile web browser does not have the feature to duplicate a tab.

Chrome & Firefox

Create a keyboard shortcut on a Mac. On a Mac desktop or MacBook, you can create a keyboard shortcut that duplicates a tab for you. Here's how: Click the Apple menu and go to System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > App Shortcuts. Click + and chose Chrome or Firefox. Name the shortcut "Duplicate Tab". Safari

Mac. Right-click a tab or pin and select Duplicate Tab. There's no keyboard shortcut for duplicating a tab in Safari, but you can get the same effect using the right-click menu.

iPhone and iPad. Drag your tab icon to +. You'll need to be on the Tabs page to do this, which means that when you open Safari, tap the Tabs icon in the lower right corner of your screen (it looks like two overlapping rectangles). Tap and hold the tab that you want to duplicate, then drag it to the plus sign in the lower left corner.
