The only official piece of lore about Bombombini Gusini is that his brother is Bombardiro Crocodilo, a brainrot character of a bomber plane with the head of a crocodile. According to the voiceover in the original video, Bombombini Gusini performs the same functions as his brother, which is to bomb people.
Some posts claim that Bombombini Gusini was created in an experiment. Since there’s very little official lore about Bombombini Gusini, social media users have taken it upon themselves to create their own backstory for the character. For instance: A YouTube video posted by Brainrot Stories suggests that Bombombini Gusini was bullied by other geese for being small and weak. He decided to prove them wrong and found a serum that gave him the body of a plane and engines for wings. A TikTok video posted by @build1898998999 claims that Bombombini Gusini was created in response to Bombardiro Crocodilo. The military captured a goose and surgically altered it to give it a plane body and wings.
Many posts say that Gusini participated in the Croco-Avian Wars. The Croco-Avian Wars are popular, non-canonical events in the Italian brainrot universe that are said to be between the bird and crocodilian characters. As a YouTube video by meGAME explains, Bombombini Gusini played a major role in the wars: During the first war, Bombombini Gusini betrayed his brother, Bombardiro Crocodilo, and switched sides to fight for the birds. However, the birds lost the first war. During the second war, Bombombini Gusini received weapon upgrades from Lirilì Larilà, an elephant character. This gave Gusini a leg up in the war against the crocodiles. However, Lirilì Larilà was killed, which caused Gusini to lose his upgrades. This allowed Crocodilo to attack and kill his brother.

Bombombini Gusini was first posted on TikTok in March 2025. TikTok user @armenjiharhanyan is credited with creating the Bombombini Gusini character. On March 5, 2025, the user posted a video featuring a static image of Bombombini Gusini accompanied by an Italian voiceover describing who Gusini is. The English translation of the video says: “Bombombini Gusini, brother of Bombardiro Crocodilo, who performs all the same functions as the brother, bombing people. A joke for those who moved: a Georgian walks carrying two watermelons under his armpits, then a man asks him ‘What time is it?’ He listens and says, ‘Here, hold the watermelon.’ The man takes it, and the Georgian, raising his hands, says, ‘How am I supposed to know?’” The voiceover isn’t supposed to make sense—that’s the point of brainrot humor, after all! @armenjiharhanyan is also credited with creating Bombardiro Crocodilo in a video posted in February 2025.
