If you'd like to celebrate a party for your little hamster or gerbil or just make a delicious little treat for your furry pal, here are a few lovely tidbits you can make with ease.
Birthday 'Cake'
Put a tablespoon of almond butter, rodent food and dried fruits into a bowl.
Stir the ingredients until they are all mixed into the nut butter.
Put the mixture into a fairy cake holder (paper cupcake holder).
Put in the oven for 12-15 minutes at about 200ºF/93ºC.
Take it out and leave to cool. Serve once completely cooled down.
Berry biscuits
Mix the flour and berry juice in a bowl.
Scoop small spoonfuls on a baking sheet.
Put the biscuits into the oven. Bake at 350ºF/180ºC for 8 minutes. If not fully cooked, bake for 5 more minutes.
Remove and cool on a wire cooling rack. Serve when totally cooled. Extras can be stored in an airtight container.
