Srinagar: Suspected terrorists shot and critically injured three security personnel in two separate incidents here on Thursday.
Two CRPF personnel were shot at point blank range at the busy commercial centre of Kokerbazaar in Lal Chowk area of the city, officials said.
The jawans were rushed to SMHS hospital where doctors said that their condition was critical.
In another incident, terrorists shot and injured a police constable at Kanikadal area of downtown city, the sources said.
Both attacks were carried out using pistols and the assailants fled taking advantage of the panic that followed the shootings, they said.
No terrorist outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
Police and paramilitary forces immediately cordoned off both localities of the city and launched a manhunt for the attackers, the sources added.
