New Delhi: In a horrific incident, a two and a half year old has been allegedly raped in Nangloi area of the capital.
According to the police, the girl was playing outside her house at around 11:30 pm on Friday with her grandmother. After that there was a brief power cut post which the minor went missing.
The family members immediately called the police and after frantic searches, the girl was found lying unconscious at a nearby park by her neighbours. She was profusely bleeding. The girl remains critical in the hospital.
According to eyewitnesses, they saw two persons on a bike. A case has been registered for rape and under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO)Act.
