28-year-old techie falls to death from 8th floor

BANGALORE: A 28-year-old techie died after he fell from the 8th floor of his apartment at Anandnagar in Hebbal on Saturday. The police are yet to ascertain whether it was an accidental death or a suicideThe deceased, Avinash Ghosh, a native of Kolkata, was working as a software engineer in Stance Life Sciences company and was residing in the first floor in Sriram Srishti Apartment with his two friends.According to the police, he went to the 8th floor of the building and fell down while it was raining at around 7.30 pm.A washerman, who stays near the apartment, found his body after hearing  a big noise and called the security guard Balakrishna, who  rushed to the spot and informed his roommate Pulkith Goyal.After finding the body lying in a pool of blood, they informed the police who rushed to the spot and shifted the victim to Ambedkar Hospital, where he was declared brought dead.It is learnt that Avinash was residing there for a couple of years and photography was his hobby.Sources said he had gone to shoot with a hi-tech camera and had informed his friend to study the weather before going up. However, police investigations revealed that he had shot photos in the afternoon but when he had gone to the 8th floor he had carried nothing along with him. A case has been registered in this regard.
