KOZHIKODE: At least 30 persons were injured after two private buses in which they were travelling collided each other near Thenhipalam police station on the Kozhikode-Thrissur route in Malappuram district on Thursday night. Four persons including the driver of one of the buses have been admitted to the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital. The accident took place at 8.30 pm. According to police, one of the buses going to Thrissur from Kozhikode was overspeeding. The bus collided with another bus which was coming to Kozhikode from Thrissur. The injured were rushed to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital and a private hospital near the accident spot.The condition of those admitted to Medical College is not serious, said hospital authorities. Those admitted at theMedical Colege Hospital are: Mohammed Kunji, 70, of Shasthamkotta, Mohammedkutty,60, of Chelembra, Nowfal,20, of Kottakkal and Ramlath, 37, of Meppadi.
