CHENNAI: MedIndia Charitable Trust is organising a free medical consultation camp for Doctor’s Day on Friday, July 1 and MedIndia Hospital.The camp aims to create health awareness for public and will include consultation for liver and intestinal diseases, master liver checkup, advanced endoscopic surgery and related investigations.The camp will also feature a free public health exhibition on advanced technology in the cure of digestive diseases and will also focus on liver and intestinal diseases like Hepatitis B and C, GI Cancer etc. They will also be offering free blood tests for first 100 registrants for Hepatitis “B”.Persons with symptoms such as prolonged heart burn, hyperacidity, indigestion, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, jaundice, chronic diarrhea constipation vomiting, weight loss or difficulty in swallowing will benefit from this camp. Persons with a history of Digestive System Cancer, chronic alcoholics and smokers will also benefit from attending the free medical consultation.Attendees will also benefit from a MedIndia Health Card offering a 25 per cent discount for investigations for a period of one month.The event will be held between 10am and 5pm.at MedIndia Hospitals, Nungambakkam.
