Abhanga Sammelan to begin on January 27

CHENNAI: A unique temple for Lord Pandurangan and Rukumayee has been constructed at the Karpaga Vinayagar Temple Complex, Shanthi Nagar, Adambakkam. Poojas and festivals are being conducted on a daily basis, similar to that of Pandarpur.The bagavathas of Shri Vittal Bhajan Mandali are all set to conduct an annual Abhanga Sammelan this January. Many leading exponents of Abhang and Sampradaya Bhajan from across the country will participate in the function.The Sammelan will be held from January 27 to 29.  Shri Tukaram Ganapathy, Maharaj of Kadayanallur, will inaugurate the mela and the ‘Jagadguru Sri Tukaram Maharaj Nama Sankeerthana Mandapam’. The programme is expected to be attended by thousands of people on all days.Arrangements for Annadhanam for all the devotees on all the days have also been made. This will enable them to listen to the devotional abhangs without any interruption.
