Abhishekam ticket price hiked to Rs 500

BHADRACHALAM: Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamivari Devasthanam increased the ticket price of Abhishekam to the main deity with effect from Sunday.Temple priests perform Abhishekam to Utsava Murtulu on all week days except on Sunday. Abhishekam to Mulavirat is performed on Sunday. Hence, devotees visit the Rama temple in large numbers on Sunday.To augment its revenue, the temple authorities increased the Abhishekam ticket price to Rs 500 from Rs 350.
