AP police seize truck carrying Rs 3.9 crore cash

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh police has seized a truck in Anantapur containing three bags of cash totaling approximately Rs 3.9 crores. Sources have said that the truck was headed to Hyderabad from Bellary in Karnataka.Bellary is the mining capital of the South, where the controversial Reddy brothers, who are mining barons, hail from.Janardhana Reddy, one of the brothers and a BJP leader from Karnataka was arrested last week by the CBI and taken to Hyderabad.The billionaire was indicted by the Karnataka Lokayukta in his July report on illegal mining.
