London: Actor Hugh Jackman who stars alongside Nicole Kidman in the recently released film Australia fainted on the sets of the film!

We get the actor talking to us about that and his kissing scenes with the very hot Nicole Kidman.

Hugh Jackman was recently voted the sexiest man in the world and the actor might have caused a little damage to his sexiest man tag with the latest confession - that he actually fainted on the sets of his latest film Australia.

"Listen, I did faint but between us, I did it as a way of giving permission to everybody else. If the leading man can faint then anyone can faint. No, I fainted on the first day on location. So we did about a month in Sydney in various locations there. The ball scene was at a big house in Sydney there's some of the English stuff was shot at this place in Sydney which looks very much like England. So we'd been shooting for a month and then we went out and it was the first big day, massive cattle scene, like 1500 head of cattle, 500 extras and this huge, huge shot, this wide shot and I was waiting on the horse for about two hours and I felt this hand on my back. And I said 'Mate what are you doing?' and he goes, 'What am I doing? Mate you're a 45 degree angle to the horse!' and I thought oops, I'm about to faint and about three guys just sort of pulled me off the horse and so there we go. Not a great way to start. There was the real deal hanging around too and they were kind of going whispering," confessed the actor.

Australia sees Jackman star alongside Nicole Kidman and when asked about how his wife reacted to the kissing scenes in the film, Jackman said, "My wife was not there. She was not watching because she was making out with Keith. Well, you know in Australia we're very open about relationships. No, she chooses not to -- look actually when I saw the film for the first time she was there too and there's that first kiss we have which is a very long, slow lingering moment before our lips touch, and it's even longer when you're sitting next to your wife. And we kiss and my wife did turn to me and she said 'That was great'. But she's an actor you see, so she was saying 'Good screen kiss' and she'll often say 'Ah! not good, bad angle, your lips are too tight, what's going on!'. But she seemed to like that one, she said that one worked."

Directed by Baz Luhrmann Australia is set in northern Australia at the beginning of World War II, when an English aristocrat, played by Kidman, inherits a cattle station.

She reluctantly joins forces with Jackman who plays a rough-hewn stock-man, to drive 2,000 head of cattle across hundreds of miles of the country's most unforgiving land when threatened by English cattle barons who plot to take her land.

What's your reaction?
