New Delhi: While India and other nations may have welcomed Pakistan's acceptance that ‘a part of the conspiracy’ of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks was hatched in the country, there are certain sections that are unhappy with Pakistan’s stand.
The banned terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Toeba’s leaders have accused Islamabad of having ‘bowed to pressure’ from India and the US.
The banned group has slammed the report and accused Islamabad of implicating the group's senior commander Zakiur Rahman Lakhvi and filing FIRs against other leaders.
LeT spokesperson Abdullah Gaznavi said, “Pakistan has surrendered before India. LeT was not behind the Mumbai terror attack at all. LeT strongly condemns the filing of FIR. It seems that Pakistan has lodged the FIR to get a pat from India and America. We want to ask Pakistan's interior ministry chief Rehman Malik whom does he want to please?"
It was Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik who had addressed a packed news conference in Islamabad on Thursday to say that the terrorists who attacked Mumbai in November and killed mercilessly did plan a part of their large plan in Pakistan.
