BBMP Assistant Engineer suspended

BANGALORE: Dhanraj G Naik, an Assistant Engineer of BBMP Ward No 77, has been placed under suspension pending inquiry on the charges of dereliction of duty.According to a press release, Assistant Executive Engineer of West (Gandhi Nagar) visited the Gitanjali Cinema Hall and Link Road and found pits measuring two to three feet. Despite instruction from  Commissioner Siddaiah to fill the craters, the Assistant Engineer is said to have shown negligence to take steps. The Commissioner has placed him under suspension pending inquiry, the press release added.
