The BJP is preparing a grand ‘Ram Lalla Darshan’ plan for devotees from across the country, with a two-month long exercise to bring Ram bhakts (devotees) to Ayodhya by special trains and buses after January 22. Around 25,000 devotees could be brought to Ayodhya daily as part of the plan.

Three senior BJP leaders – BL Santhosh, Tarun Chugh and Sunil Bansal – are in Ayodhya to oversee preparations for the same. Both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath have appealed to devotees to come to Ayodhya only from January 23 as only invitees for the ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony are allowed to be at the Ram Temple before that.

The BJP, however, will leave no stone unturned to ensure maximum devotees from across the country are brought to Ayodhya post January 22 for the darshan of ‘Ram Lalla’. The BJP has set up coordinators in every Lok Sabha constituency in the country to ensure the exercise is smooth.

A ‘Ramdarshan Yatra’ campaign committee has also been formed by the BJP which includes BL Santhosh, Sunil Bansal and Tarun Chugh. Multiple special trains and buses will be run for the convenience of the devotees, and their accommodation, food and travel arrangements will be made.

The Chief Minister said that after January 22, Ram devotees from all over the world will arrive in Ayodhya. For their convenience, signage in different languages should be installed throughout the city. Signage should be in the languages included in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution and six languages of the United Nations.

“There should be no dust or filth on major roads or streets like Dharma Path, Janmabhoomi Path, Bhakti Path, Ram Path. Currently, more than 3800 sanitation workers are deployed, the number of employees should be increased by 1,500,” the CM said. The Chief Minister also said Ayodhya should become a polythene-free city.
