Bomb scare on Gujarat train

Surat, Gujarat: A train was stopped at the Surat railway station and passengers disembarked after an anonymous person told officials on phone that there was a bomb.

A bomb squad is checking the Mumbai-bound Karnavati Express. Security officials are taking no chances, as on Sunday night the Samjhauta Express to Pakistan was the target of two blasts.

As many as 67 people died and more than 50 were injured in that attack.
