HYDERABAD: The organiser of a private club at Jubilee Hills was on Monday arrested in a six-year-old murder case. A 'deserted' constable of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), who was hired by the accused as a gunman, was also arrested by the police.34-year-old G Krishna Chaitanya alias Chanakya hailing from Krishna district was involved in the murder of Ashoka Chary, the sarpanch of Khajipalli village in Medak district at Dhulapally under Dundigal police limits in 2005.Police said Chanakya and 13 others were involved in the killing. Police had arrested seven of the accused but Chanakya was at large.According to Cyberabad police commissioner Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, he was running the Elite Club at Road no 5, Jubilee Hills.Ramdas Naik, a deserted CRPF constable, was working as his gunman and was arrested for violating gun licence norms.
