HYDERABAD: BV Srinivas Reddy, accused in an illegal mining case, filed a petition in the Special CBI Court on Wednesday seeking bail. It is for the fourth time Srinivas Reddy filed a petition in the court for bail. Srinivas Reddy, managing director of Obulapuram Mining Company and his brother-in-law and former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy, are lodged in Chanchalguda prison. The CBI arrested Janardhan Reddy and Srinivas Reddy at Bellary in Karnataka on September 5 in connection with the illegal mining case.The Special CBI Court on Wednesday reserved its orders on the bail petition of VD Rajagopal, former vice- chairman and managing director of APMDC, till Thursday. Rajagopal, accused No 3 in the illegal mining case, is also lodged in Chanchalguda Central Prison.
