BANGALORE: This would be a welcome relief to students and parents. If any instance arises where students in professional colleges have got a seat through CET counselling and the institute demands for excess fees from the stipulated fee, all that the students need to do is to lodge a complaint with the higher education authorities.Through a notification the state government has informed the students and parents that if colleges should collect excess fees to the consensual agreement medical/dental students can lodge a complaint with chairperson of One Person Committee K Sudha Rao emailksudharao@ yahoo.co.in, while engineering/technology/ architecture students can lodge a complaint with principal secretary higher education department emailprshigh- [email protected] or principal secretary to government chairperson, higher education, education department, M S Building.On Sunday at the special CET medical counselling round Education Minister S A Ramadas said that former vice-chancellor of the Karnataka State Open University K Sudha Rao has been chosen as the One Person Committee.She would look into all matters and complaints related to under-graduate medical admissions this academic year.Officials stated, “All the complaints will go directly to the concerned and designated people. Our department will not be responsible for any complaints filed.”
