Chennai police arrest man, girlfriend for beheading wife

Chennai: A month after a headless body of a woman was found in a garbage bin, the Chennai police have finally cracked the case.

According to the findings of the police, the body belongs to a small time actor Sasirekha.

Her husband and his girlfriend, who are also actors, have been arrested on charges of murder.

Police say the duo murdered Sasirekha as she didn't approve of her husband's extra-marital relationship.

Sasirekha's body was recovered in January from a bin. Her head was later recovered from a canal in the city after some leads from the accused.
